A lot of things have changed since we introduced SundaHus Material Data in 2003, but one thing that is still the same is the importance of standardized and structured data. It is still fundamental to a more resource efficient and sustainable construction industry. Regardless of what you want to achieve when it comes to sustainability and circularity within the construction sector: When you try to scale it up, access or lack of access to relevant product specific data is very often the difference between success and failure. Therefore, the PCDS initiative is a very welcome step in the right direction
